Condition Surveys & Conservation Audits

Many public and private institutions, museums and private collections are now starting to incorporate surveys which assess and audit the condition of a collection in its entirety. Condition surveys are necessary to provide the client with an accurate description of the condition of the collection in their possession. Surveys are necessary to pinpoint any risks or damages in the collection so that a holistic action plan can be appropriately provided. RECOOP can provide two types of audits: a synoptic or a detailed survey. These surveys can help plan conservation expenditure and planning out your next exhibition.

Throughout the years we have managed to build a commendable portfolio due to various collaborations with prestigious institutions such as La Venaria Reale in Turin. RECOOP has for many times been responsible in providing preventive measures and monitoring during the setting up and display phase of an exhibition. We have been involved in exhibitions with works by Francesco Zahra, Francesco Noletti and Mattia Preti. RECOOP has also collaborated with contemporary artists namely Austin Camilleri, who enjoys an international repute, with his latest monograph titled LE|IVA held at Spazju Kreattiv in Valletta to which we contributed.
