Our Mission
ReCoop was born from a simple idea of huge ambition. Preserving the heritage left to us by our forefathers, for it to be passed on to future generations. RECOOP, is a co-operative which offers conservation, restoration, monitoring, consultancy and art-historical services to the public and private sector, both locally and abroad.
Since 2003, RECOOP has grown to render its services to prestigious organisations including the UK’s Government Art Collection, St John’s Co-Cathedral Foundation, Heritage Malta, Din l-Art Ħelwa, Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Malti, Superintendence of Cultural Heritage, Valletta Rehabilitation Project and several Parishes across the Maltese Islands.
Our defining factor, which makes us stand out, is our indefatigable passion to provide services of the highest quality. Through its 20 year experience, RECOOP has managed to create an holistic and innovative modus operandi which combines the expertise of both conservator-restorers and art historians. This interdisciplinary approach, when integrated with the latest cutting-edge technology, guarantees the best standards in the work we carry out for the safeguarding of cultural heritage.
Our principles.
